The Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Government, Hon. Olubunmi Obeisun Ezekiel, who also serves as the State ALGON Auditor and the ALGON Leader in Ijesa Zone, has reaffirmed his commitment to party unity and grassroots mobilization. He made this known today while hosting APC ward chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders, and party loyalists from across Oriade Local Government in his office.
Welcoming the party stakeholders, Hon. Obeisun expressed his delight at their visit, emphasizing that rebuilding the party and prioritizing the welfare of elders, leaders, and members remain his top concerns. He stressed that unity and love must be the foundation for strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The delegation, led by the APC Oriade Local Government Chairman, Hon. Lasun Ogunsanya, listened as Hon. Obeisun appealed for peace within the party. He reiterated that the era of political lobbying for chairmanship positions was over, urging all stakeholders to see themselves as one. He further declared that he had forgiven anyone who might have offended him and called on those who felt wronged to also embrace forgiveness for the party’s progress.
Hon. Obeisun emphasized that the collective focus should be on reclaiming Osun State from Governor Ademola Adeleke in 2026. He urged party members to set aside personal grievances and work together in unity to ensure the APC’s victory in the next gubernatorial election.
He also called on all party executives to sustain their ward meetings, assuring them that his office remains open for dialogue on party affairs and the overall development of the local government. He pledged to create an enabling environment for political discussions that would further strengthen the party.
Expressing his gratitude, Hon. Obeisun appreciated APC leaders in Oriade for their unwavering support and words of encouragement. He acknowledged the roles played by key stakeholders in ensuring the party’s continued presence at the local government secretariat.
His appreciation extended to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Leader Chief Bisi Akande, former Governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, APC National Secretary, and all state executives who contributed to the party’s successes.
Hon. Obeisun concluded by urging party stakeholders to return to their wards and promote love, unity, and cooperation among elders, leaders, and members. He reiterated that a united APC was the key to reclaiming Osun State in 2026.
