The year 2027 has been prophetically highlighted as a pivotal decision year for Nigeria and its citizens, based on the nation’s current challenges and future expectations.
According to Apostle Andrew John, a minister of the gospel, this significant year will be marked by uncertainties, disappointments, and eventualities that will ultimately define Nigeria’s trajectory as a nation. He cautioned against making the 2027 elections a “do-or-die affair,” warning that such an approach could ignite chaos and set the nation on fire. “We are definitely sitting on a keg of gunpowder,” he emphasized.
Apostle John urged that if the 2027 elections are to hold, the primary aim of the presidency must not be power or political gain. Instead, it should be centered on achieving total freedom for the populace, aligning with what he described as God’s renewed plans for Nigeria. He stressed that the year would bring forth unexplainable visions and divine interventions that would humble politicians desperately seeking power without divine approval.
“Unless we consider God first, a lot of things will surely change hands,” he declared, emphasizing the need for spiritual alignment and selfless leadership. He further advised that anyone aspiring to become Nigeria’s president must prioritize the nation’s interests above all else, serving as a beacon of hope and deliverance.
Apostle John called on all aspirants to set aside individual interests and embrace a unified national identity. “Everyone must see themselves first as a Nigerian,” he asserted, humorously adding, “Detribalize! None Hausa, none Igbo, none Yoruba, young or old. Or better still, bear Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba names all together just simply Nigerian!”
His message underscores the need for unity, selflessness, and divine guidance as Nigeria approaches what could be a defining moment in its history. The year 2027, according to Apostle John, will be a test of the nation’s resolve to prioritize collective progress over personal or ethnic interests.
