All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s claims of reducing the party’s votes in Kano during the 2027 elections as “political ranting”.
According to the APC Kano state chapter chairman, Prince Abdullahi Abbas, Kwankwaso’s comments are “laughable” and advised him to “stop daydreaming” and focus on reclaiming his membership in the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP).
Abbas described Kwankwaso as a “political refugee” who has become a wanderer in the political terrain after being booted out of the NNPP due to his “cluelessness and self-centeredness”.
The APC has assured its supporters that it is ready to reclaim Kano State and save its people from Kwankwaso’s undue influence. The party has also warned that it will not allow a repeat of the alleged “vote manipulation and allocation” that occurred during the 2023 general election.
Kwankwaso had boasted that his party, the NNPP, would work tirelessly to ensure the APC’s votes are reduced to less than 15,000 in Kano by 2027. However, the APC has dismissed this claim as mere rhetoric.
