Afrobeats singer, Teniola Apata, also known as, Teni, has revealed that she was diagnosed with a potentially fatal throat infection in July.
This was revealed via her verified Instagram page, @tenientertainer, where she shared a video documenting her journey.
She disclosed that following several episodes of voice loss, medical professionals recommended a major operation to avoid the possibility of irreversible voice loss.
She was hospitalised in September after repeated cases of exhaustion.
Teni, currently undergoing treatment without resorting to surgery, has reassured her fans about the heartfelt nature of her upcoming album, ‘Tears Of The Sun’, set to be released on the 17th of this month. She highlighted ‘Malaika’ as a song expressing her gratitude to God.
