Former BBNaija winner, Mercy Eke has expressed her distress over having more than N100 million deposited with the now-defunct Heritage Bank.
This comes in the wake of the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) assuring depositors that they would receive an insured amount of up to N5 million.
Taking to her verified X account on Thursday, June 6, 2024, the reality star shared her concerns, stating she is uncertain about how to process the news and is hoping for the best outcome.

Mercy revealed that she had funded the account after being persuaded by her account manager.
Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria’s made an announcement on Monday regarding the immediate revocation of Heritage Bank Limited’s operating license.
She wrote,
