There was a pandemonium in Jos, the capital of Plateau State, as two-story school buildings collapsed while classes were going on, killing four students and injuring many others.
It was learned that the unfortunate incident occurred at about 9:20 a.m. at Saint Academy in the Busa Buji area of Jos North local government area of the state when students of the school were writing their third term promotion examination.
As of the time of filing this report, some of the students are still under the debris while security men and other Samaritans are busy trying to evacuate the rumble.
The few rescued are presently at Bingham Teaching Hospital receiving treatment, while the remains of the four who died are being equally deposited at the same hospital mortuary.
Meanwhile, efforts are still ongoing to rescue some of the students who are still under the rubble.
