The wife of Sokoto State Governor, Fatima Ahmed Aliyu, was on Sunday awarded “Outstanding Mother of the Year ” by Amazing Fame Concept in Collaboration with Caliphate Youth Forum.
The award was to recognise the contribution of the Sokoto First Lady to the success of Governor Ahmed Aliyu’s administration in the state since her assumption into office and the way she carried out her duty as the First Lady.
The award was presented on behalf of the organizers by a former member of the House of Representatives, Honourable Shehu Kakale, who described the award as well-deserved and based on merit.
In her remarks, Hajia Fatima Ahmed Aliyu describes the award as a special one, which she said will motivate her to serve humanity better.
“I want to say this here, this award is very special to me and I believe with this, I will be more motivated to serve humanity better than I did in 2024”.
Mrs. Aliyu was represented at the award ceremony by the state Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Hajiya Hadiza Ahmad Shagar, who commended the organizers for the award.
The ceremony took place at the Command Guests House Sokoto.
