Stakeholders in the Oke Ode community, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, have been urged to support the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), Engineer Bashir Ojulari, for a successful tenure in his new role.
It is recalled that Engineer Ojulari, an indigene of the community, was recently appointed as the CEO of the NNPCL by President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement issued by the Provost of the Kwara State College of Nursing Sciences, Òkè-Ọdẹ́, Alhaji Lamidi Olarewaju Quadri, on behalf of the management, staff, and students of the institution, he described the appointment of Engineer Ojulari as “a glory to the Oke-Ode community because of the fame, prominence, and prestige his office would attract to this town of his origin.”
“It is very important to give him every necessary support to see him through the Herculean task in the oil and gas sector of our country.
“He needs our fervent prayers to deliver on his mandate,” the statement said.
The people also extended their felicitations and congratulations to the sons and daughters of the ancient town of Oke-Ode, the host community of the College, on the recent appointment of their son.
“While thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his trust and confidence in our son, let us also appreciate our amiable Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his support towards the appointment.
“This is the beginning of many more better things to come to Oke-Ode by Allah’s grace.”
