Nationnewslead report that As part of their CSR projects, all culminating to mark our 50th anniversary, the Obio Akpor Chapter of Brothers Across Nigeria in Rivers State (Guatamela Frigate) donated a solar powered water extraction borehole collection plant with multiple taps in the remote village of Omuorluwongwe Nkarahia Community in Isiokpo Rivers State.
The construction of this plant was funded and supervised by the members of this Frigate and it was launched by Engr Azubuike Onowu, our Worldwide President. This laudable project was initiated as a means of tackling the water problem in the local community as it has provided a new channel of water collection of the members of that community which is accessible to them for free.
In BAN, we believe that we are a beacon of hope for those who are not as privileged as we are. The virtue of charity is one of the fundamental pillars of our philosophy as it’s essential that we give to those in need, even from the little that we might have.
