In a significant political development, Engr. Olufemi Akosile has extended a warm welcome to Hon. Oluwole Oke, the distinguished six-term lawmaker representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, as he officially joins the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Oke, a veteran parliamentarian with over two decades of legislative experience, brings with him a legacy of impactful service and unwavering dedication to national development. He has held key leadership roles as Chairman of the House Committees on Defence, Public Procurement, and Public Accounts, where his efforts have consistently advanced transparency, good governance, and accountability.

Engr. Akosile described Hon. Oke’s defection as a major boost to the progressive fold, noting that his vast experience, legislative acumen, and commitment to public service would further strengthen the APC’s mission to deliver people-oriented governance.
“We are excited to have Hon. Oluwole Oke join the APC. His track record speaks volumes, and his decision marks the beginning of a new and promising chapter for our party, his constituency, and the nation at large,” Akosile stated.
The APC family, he added, remains committed to working collectively to ensure continued progress, development, and prosperity across Obokun/Oriade and Nigeria as a whole.
