Rauf Aregbesola, former Minister of Interior, and 2023 presidential candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Rabiu Kwankwaso, have met in Lagos.
The meeting, according to the report was to “strategize” ahead of the 2027 general election.
Recall that All Progressives Congress last week expelled the former governor of Osun State over alleged anti-party activities.
This came after Omoluabi Progressives, Aregbesola’s political group, left the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Aregbesola and Kwankwaso just completed a marathon meeting in Lagos where they strategized on the 2027 election,” a source told TheCable on Saturday.
