The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, and the Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, are set to unveil a humanitarian organisation, Okanlawon Memorial Trust.
The organisation, which was set up by the family of late Asafa Okanlawon and his wife, late Basirat Okanlawon, would be unveiled on April 3, 2021, at the Kings Riverside Holiday and Resorts, Iwo, Osun State.
The family in a statement signed by one of the children of the deceased, Semiu Okanlawon, said the organisation set up to celebrate the lives of their parents would contribute to society in its little way.
According to Semiu, the organisation represented the values of their parents who lived their lives in service to humanity in their immediate community.
Other dignitaries that would attend the event are the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Postal Service, Ismail Adewusi, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams.
