
The Founder and CEO of the Aribisala Care Foundation, Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, has expressed deep condolences to the people of Ikeji-Ile in Oriade Local Government, Osun State, over the passing of their traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebayo Ayegbo Ogunmokun. The revered monarch joined his ancestors on March 9, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of service and leadership.
In a heartfelt message, Barrister Aribisala, an internationally recognized tax consultant and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, commiserated with the royal family, the entire Ikeji-Ile community, and associates of the late monarch. He also extended his sympathy to members of the APC in the area, acknowledging the monarch’s significant contributions to the development of the community.

Describing the passing of Oba Adebayo Ayegbo Ogunmokun as a great loss, Aribisala noted that the monarch’s demise had created a huge vacuum in the traditional and political landscape of Ikeji-Ile, Oriade Local Government, and Osun State as a whole. He emphasized the monarch’s role in fostering peace, unity, and progress within the community during his reign.
Barrister Aribisala, a royal prince himself, also extended his condolences to other traditional rulers in Oriade Local Government and the Ijesa North region, recognizing the bond they shared with the late monarch. He prayed that Oba Ogunmokun’s death would not lead to further losses among the traditional institutions in the region.
Furthermore, he called for unity among the Council of Obas in Oriade Local Government, urging them to uphold the legacies of the late monarch and continue working towards the advancement of their communities. He expressed his belief that Oba Ogunmokun’s contributions would remain a guiding light for generations to come.
While praying for the peaceful repose of the late king’s soul, Aribisala reassured the people of Ikeji-Ile of his unwavering support during this difficult period. He encouraged them to honor the monarch’s memory by sustaining the values of peace and development that he championed throughout his lifetime.
