THE National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA) has received an upgrade from the African Union Development Agency (AUDA)-New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) (AUDA-NEPAD).
This was disclosed by Acting Director of AUDA-NEPAD, Florence Nazare, on Sunday, in Abuja.
“We cannot underscore the role of the NBMA in promoting technology, science, and technology innovation across Africa.”
Nazare said they are happy to learn from the agency and commended their facilities for driving modern technology forward.
She applauded their partnership with the NBMA in leading negotiations in technology. “Nigeria has played a critical role in all the international negotiations. The Ag. Director additionally recommended the know-how of the NBMA and different corporations throughout West Africa as a pillar for industrialisation via biotechnology. She recounseled the facilities, labouratory and numerous devices hired via the NBMA to sell biotechnology improvements throughout West Africa.
Nazare promised extra collaboration with the NBMA to accelerate musical and technological development in West Africa.
She expressed optimism that, in the framework of the initiative that had delivered them to Nigeria, they could be capable of fostering inter-African relations.
