Nationnewslead reports that an award for excellent performance has been presented to the Osun State Commissioner for Land And Physical Planning, Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade for his hard work in the ministry.
The award was presented to the commissioner by Osun Civil Servants at the Staff Development Centre (SDC) recently.
While expressing deep appreciation for the gesture, the commissioner thanked the civil servants for giving him such an honour as one of the best commissioner in the Redemption Government.
He disclosed that Governor Oyetola has great passion for civil servants in the state, adding that he is working hard to ensure that civil servants activities are not relegated to the background in the redemption agenda of the state administration.
Hon. Agunbiade assured the civil servants of government’s resolve towards alleviating poverty among civil servants in the state.
Earlier, in his presentation, the leader of the group said that they took their time to visit all the various ministries in the state before drawing their conclusion on the best ministry to be awarded which made the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning to emerge victorious.
He maintained that after thorough research work, it was discovered that Hon. Nathaniel Agunbiade was the rightful person to be given the award and that was why they gave him.
He explained that the award tagged “the best performing commissioner in State of Osun” was to encourage him to continue with the good work he had started for the good people of the state.
In a separate development, the leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Oriade Local Government also paid a courtesy call on the commissioner and commended him for a good work he was doing in the ministry.
Leaders in the Local Government thanked the commissioner for his show of love especially for carrying them along.
The leaders encouraged him to continue with his good work, adding that God would surely reward him for all that he had done on earth. They also thanked Governor Oyetola for his concern for the plight of civil servants in the state.
