The Honourable Member representing Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, on Friday, joined the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass, and other prominent Nigerian lawmakers in welcoming a high-level delegation from a major political party in China.

The courtesy visit, which took place at the National Assembly complex in Abuja, marked a significant step towards strengthening diplomatic and inter-parliamentary relations between Nigeria and the People’s Republic of China. The Chinese delegation was led by senior officials from the Communist Party of China (CPC), who are currently on a working visit to Nigeria.
During the engagement, Speaker Tajudeen Abass emphasized the importance of fostering mutual understanding, trade cooperation, and cultural exchange between the two nations. He noted that China’s strategic relationship with Nigeria has continued to grow, especially in the areas of infrastructure, education, and technology.
Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke, who is also a ranking member of the House, expressed his commitment to enhancing legislative ties that will benefit his constituents and the country at large. He applauded the visit as a valuable opportunity to share ideas and explore areas of collaboration that could drive national development.
