Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe, was born about 52-year ago, a scion of the Ajagbusi Ekun Ruling House of Iloko-Ijesa.
He had his primary education at C&S Primary School, Iragbiji and his secondary school education at Oke-Iragbiji Grammar School, Iragbiji, Osun State, Nigeria.
Thereafter, he had his university education at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1991. He obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the same university in 1998.
His paternal forebears were astute in trade and commerce a skill and trait undoubtedly inherited by Prince Thomas. In 2013, he commenced the quest for his Doctorate degree in Marketing Strategy by first obtaining an MPhil from the prestigious Babcock University. Like an unstoppable bullet-train, he capped the educational pursuit by achieving his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Marketing Strategy in 2017.
He is an Alumnus of the Saed Business School, Oxford University, UK and prestigious Harvard Business School, USA. Thomas has attended leadership courses in University of Guadalajara, Mexico, Imperial College of Technology, Wye Campus, Kent, UK and graduated as a Fellow of LEAD-Leadership on Environment and Development, UK.
Prince began his working career with Pfizer (now Neimeth) left as Consumer Product Manager to Gateway Bank Plc as Head, Consumer Banking Group through National Oil and Chemical Marketing Plc (Now Conoil) as Aviation Business Manager to Sahara Energy Group (Now Asharami Plc) as Director, Aviation Fuel and later joined ChevronTexaco (now MRS) as Group Aviation Manager – West & Central Africa. before establishing CITA Aviation Fuelling Company Limited (The largest aviation fueling company in Nigeria)
Prince Thomas, has led many high-profile Industry Group Projects, serving as a member of Federal Government of Nigerian 6-man Ministerial Committee on Aviation Fuel Pricing and Product Availability. Between 2009 and 2012, he was the Chairman of the Management Committee of Joint Aviation Facility in Kano.
He was also a management member of Joint Users Hydrant Installation owned by Oil Majors and JUHI 2 at different times.
He is a Jet fuel airfield inspector of IATA certified rating and has attended several international trainings on Jet fuel by EI, ASTM, API & IATA. Indeed, his name is a “sine qua non”, when it comes to jet fuel business in the Gulf of Guinea.
Prince Thomas Olaleye Ogungbangbe is an erudite professional, scholastic, blessed with the gift of the gab. He has an immense propensity and high preponderance for philanthropy, he is a mentor, a teacher and a trainer.
