
Osogbo, Osun State – Following a successful election on Saturday, the newly elected executives of the Osun State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), led by Comr. Olusegun Akinbode Olakolupo, were officially sworn into office yesterday. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Adolak Event Centre Hall, Osogbo, and was conducted by the National President of NYCN, Amb. Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo, alongside the National Legal Adviser and other NEC members present.

During the event, the Returning Officer presented certificates to the newly elected executives, officially affirming their mandate. In his remarks, the Osun State Commissioner for Youth, Hon. Moshood Olagunju, congratulated the new leadership and assured them of the state government’s support where necessary. He also conveyed a goodwill message from Governor Ademola Adeleke, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and development.
Addressing the newly sworn-in executives, the National President of NYCN, Amb. Sukubo, urged them to remain loyal to the council’s cause and lead with dedication and integrity. He also prayed for a successful and impactful tenure for the new leadership.
The swearing-in ceremony marks a new chapter for the NYCN in Osun State, with Comr. Olusegun Akinbode Olakolupo and his team set to drive youth engagement and development across the state.
