Veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem has initiated the ‘Tell Your Papa’ challenge on social media, brushing aside the federal government’s ban.
Information Nigeria had previously reported that the Nigerian government banned Eedris Abdulkareem’s newly released anti-Tinubu song, “Tell Your Papa,” from being aired on all radio and television stations.

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), through a memo issued by its Coordinating Director of Broadcast Monitoring, Susan Obi, labelled the song as both offensive and unsuitable for broadcast.

In response to the ban, veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem took to Instagram, describing the government’s move as a deliberate attempt to stifle truth and silence dissenting voices.
On Sunday, the veteran artiste unveiled the “Tell Your Papa” challenge on his Instagram page, urging Nigerians to boldly speak truth to power.
Sharing the challenge post, he wrote, “Nothing strengthens authority so much as silence. There is a time to speak and a time to keep silent. This is the time to speak and make your voice heard”.
