Seye Arowobusoye has felicitated with Ijebu-Ijesa people all over the world on the occasion of Egboro day festival and 5th coronation anniversary of Oba Moses Olufemi Agunsoye, Abikehin-Ekun Agunsoye II on the throne.
In a statement signed by media aide to Hon. Seye Arowobusoye, Olayinka Rafael this morning in Ijebu-Ijesa, Rafael said:
“It brings me great joy to extend warm greetings and felicitations to the people of Ijebu-Ijesa on the auspicious occasion of Egboro Festival 2022 and 5th Coronation Anniversary.
“As a liberal Nigerian citizen who have interacted and worked closely with people from all faith, i know the importance of this very iconic traditional festival to indigenes of Ijebu-Ijesa, and i am happy to send my wishes to ‘Ijebu-Ijesa” all over the world.
“Personally, i have always had high regards for our culture and traditions, and should Oriade people elect me at the MARCH polls of next year, Egboro day Festival will get more attention from the state government.
Arowobusoye commended the king for his charisma and intellectual capacity that he brought to bear in his reign on the throne of the ancient kingdom of Ijebu-Ijesa, saying that his royal impact has translated to peace, progress and prosperity of the people of the kingdom.
“You have remained humble, empathic to the plight of Ijebu-Ijesa people, principled, focused, God fearing ruler and an epitome of royalty with high regards. Your actions, since your ascension to the throne has helped in no small measure, in promoting the cherish dignity that our traditional institution is known for and we are indeed very proud of you.
While praying God to bless, sustain and give the Monarch divine health and many more momentous reign on the throne of his forefathers
“Hon. Seye Arowobusoye urge the good people of Ijebu-Ijesa to imbibe the lessons that comes with this all important Festival, especially as it concerns making the right sacrifices that will ensure we collectively build a new Osun.
“I pray that all sacrifices and efforts made during Egboro Day Festival of 2022 be rewarded richly.
