Life’s Beginning Foundation (LBF) has officially launched its mission to support Nigerians facing infertility challenges.
The launch event, held at Regus Event Center, brought together the board of trustees, media partners, and stakeholders.
Co-founder Mrs Ame Okwudi emphasised the need for awareness, education, and support, given the prevalence of infertility in Nigeria and the lack of adequate information available to those affected.
“We understand the pain of wanting to have children, and we’re thrilled to embark on this journey with a dedicated community, aiming to help as many individuals and families as possible,” she said.
Dr Deji West, a member of the board of directors, presented an overview of LBF’s mission to provide support, resources, and education to individuals facing fertility challenges.
He shared that the founders’ personal experiences with infertility drive their resolve to bring hope and smiles to many, as every couple deserves a chance to start a family.
Through education and awareness, individuals can explore fertility options, and LBF will assist in every possible way to help them achieve their dreams.
The event concluded with a briefing on LBF’s future initiatives and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in fertility support.
The foundation aims to raise 50 million naira to support 10 individuals with fertility challenges.
An interactive session followed, delving deeper into the multifaceted challenges of infertility, facilitated by Mrs Ame Okwudi, and fostering meaningful discussions and insights.
