Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago has congratulated the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio on his 62nd birthday.
In a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the Governor described the Senate President as a patriotic and committed leader who has been actively involved in nation-building for over two decades.
He said Senator Akpabio is an exceptional politician who has experience cuts across the judiciary, executive and legislative arms.
The Governor recalled how the celebrant, who is also a lawyer, started his remarkable political leadership journey as a Commissioner, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Minister, Minority Leader at the Senate and now the Senate President.
He commended the Senate President for his purposeful leadership at the Senate.
The Governor said God has been kind to the celebrant, and he joined millions of well-wishers to congratulate and celebrate the Senate President on the auspicious day of his life.
The Governor wished the Akpabio more years, in good health to serve humanity.
