Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has applauded contractors executing various road projects across the 25 local government areas of the state.
The governor made the recommendation when he met the contractors at the Government House Minna.
He said the appreciation was necessary considering the good job they were doing, in line with the New Niger Agenda.
The Governor further disclosed that reports coming from community members across the 25 local governments of the state indicated that the people were delighted with the level and standard of work carried out so far.
He, however, urged them to endeavour to carry out their projects in phases and in accordance with stipulated project guidelines.
Mohammed Umaru Bago thereby promised immediate payment to contractors who presented certificates as an indication of meeting up with contractual agreements.
He emphasised that the state government will continue to partner with contractors who execute standardised work.
