Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Regina Daniels has revealed that she got married as a virgin, despite having many male friends.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress addressed speculations surrounding her relationships and clarified some misconceptions about her past.
She explained that her reference to having “20 boyfriends” was meant to humour her husband and convey an educational message to young girls.
The actress emphasised that having several male friends who are willing to assist does not imply that women are obligated to reciprocate with their bodies.
She further urged her followers to understand that it is natural to attract admiration from both men and women, especially in the entertainment industry.
She wrote, “Hey everyone I want to clarify the 20 boyfriend ish solely to soothe my husband and also educate young girls that having several male/boy friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And oh yes. I did have a lot but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex

Regina Daniels married businessman and politician Ned Nwoko in 2019, and the couple have two children together.
