Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ostia Ezeli, popularly known as Denniskane, has said he never considered being a full-time musician as he had his eyes focused mainly on something else.
Ezeli made this known while speaking with journalists recently.
He said: ”I have always been a music lover ever since I was a kid; I literally can listen to music from morning till night every day. I barely watched anything else on TV back in the days other than music channels.
“That is how much I love music. But the funny thing about it is that I never thought of making it a full-time job; it has always been a hobby, something that keeps me happy—not until my sister introduced me to a friend of hers who was an artist at that time.
“One day I had the opportunity to be in the studio with him and his producer; he made me write a song on the spot and we ended up recording two songs in not more than three hours. Everyone who listened to the song was impressed and that is how it all started and I have never stopped.”
Speaking on the uniqueness of his music, the Edo State-born artiste said:”First of all, me as an individual I’m different, my voice sounds different, i make my music how I feel, and the way I express myself in my music is something no one else does. All of these together make my music different.”
Denniskane started off as an independent artist and is still currently an independent artist under the auspices Kenxzy Universal Music. So far he has released a couple of songs which includes: My mind, I can’t lie, Far away, and one of his music video baby mama shot by the popular TG Omori. He also just released a six-track EP.
