Former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani, on Wednesday, said that there will be peace in the nation once supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, are off the political space.
According to him, in another light, the nation will experience tyranny if Peter Obi’s supporters, popularly known as Obidients, are not in the scheme of things.
It is note worthy that Obidients are known for their very vocal criticism of the ruling All Progressives Congress and the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

The group made up of mainly youths have continuously condemned the conduct of the just concluded general elections, claiming widespread rigging and voters intimidation were the order of the day.
Some politicians and prominent individuals have described the Obidients as unruly, one of those being renowned Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka.
Sani expressing his thoughts via Twitter on the Obidients movement and their influence on the affairs of the nation, he wrote, “If you remove the supporters of the Labour Party from Nigeria’s political space, we will all have the peace and tranquillity we want and the tyranny we don’t want.”
