The commander, General Kano state Hisbah board Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa has said that top preparations are on ground, for the commencement of mass wedding for 1,000 couples, under the state Hisbah Board.
It will be recalled that, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, had served as Commander General Kano state Hisbah Board, during the tenure of Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and now appointed to the same position for the third time, by the incumbent Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Sheikh Daurawa, who disclosed this,shortly after assuming duty, at Hisbah headquarters Sharada Kano.
He further disclosed that the state governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf was committed to uplifting the standards of living among people through policies and programs.
Various committees would be inaugurated to ensure the success of the mass wedding, saying that, each local government area, would receive 20 nomination forms.he said
Sheikh Daurawa stressed that, doors are open to receive donations, from philanthropists and wealthy individuals, willing to contribute their quota, towards the actualization of the wedding.
Kano state Hisbah Board would not relent in it’s efforts, of sanitizing Kano free of all forms of vices.
Sheikh Daurawa stressed the need for Hisbah personnel to redouble their efforts in discharging their responsibilities to achieve the desired objectives.
