Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has appointed an alumnus of The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Mr. Kehinde Quadri Adu as one of the members of Advisory Committee on Tourism in the State.
The 9 man high powered committee chaired by Director General of National Council for Arts and Culture, Otunba Segun Runsewe were appointed to give value to the Tourism potentials in the State.
Mr. Kehinde Quadri Adu, the head of Culture and Tourism for African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council (AU-ECOSOCC) in Nigeria graduated from Accountancy Department of the Federal Polytechnic Offa and his appointment was borne out of his efforts to see the world as a safer, saner and beautiful place.
According to him, ” As head, Culture and Tourism for AU-ECOSOCC Nigeria, we are doing everything humanly possible to develop Africa’s Tourism. This efforts got to the attention of Kogi State Governor, this is what brought the appointment.”
Other members of the committee include: Chief (Mrs) Nike Okundaye of Nike Gallery, Otunba Wale Akinboye, CEO of La Campaigne Tropicana Resort, Dr Ronke Bello, Chief Joseph Makoju, and Mallam Yesufu Abubakar.
