The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) under the leadership of Comrade Uchenna Madu has condemned the unwarranted and criminal abduction of the President of Ohaneze Youths Council (OYC) Comradeaka O. Igboayaka, in Owerri by Ebonyi state command of Nigeria police in a gestapo style.
In a statement issued in Owerri on Monday by the National Director of Information MASSOB, Comrade Edeson Samuel accused Ebony state police command of working for some influential politicians that are not comfortable with the eloquent and boldness of Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka’s exposure of corruptions and non-performance of some political office holders who are behind this despicable and cruel abduction of the Igbo youth leader.
He said: “This intimidation against Ndi Igbo must stop, no body should push us to the wall because there is a limit to human endurance. Igbo land is already boiling with government’s insincerity, hunger and restlessness”.
MASSOB, therefore, demanded unconditional release of Comrade Igboayaka without delay.
He questioned why those he described as self-centered politicians are so desirous to highjack all the Igbo pressure groups, just because of fear of losing 2027 general election.
The group insist on the release of Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka now to avoid push Igbo land into unnecessary chaos.
MASSOB accused those involved in his kidnapping of pushing the Igbo youths to wall of retaliation.
