The day began with a colorful journey through traditional attire, as students and staff proudly adorned garments representing various Nigerian ethnic groups. This celebration of culture extended to the dining hall, where a feast of traditional Nigerian dishes awaited. In his address, the Head of Administration, Dr. Abdallah Muhammad, reminded parents of the school’s unwavering commitment to providing students with well-rounded experiences that prepare them to excel not only academically but also in understanding their heritage. “Retain your trust in us,” he urged parents, “as we strive to ensure our students shine in all aspects of life by providing them with a cocktail of experiences.”
The Founder of the school, Alhaji AbdulHameed Mohammed, further charged parents to encourage their children to stay connected to their roots. “Culture is a way of life and cannot be overlooked. Knowing one’s history and heritage is essential for building a strong sense of identity,” he emphasized. In addition, Alhaji AbdulHameed Mohammed said, “At Medmina College, we firmly believe that diversity is our strength. Through events like the concluded Cultural Day, we nurture a community united by shared heritage and boundless potential. We are proud to play a role in preserving and celebrating the cultural treasures of our nation while preparing our students to contribute meaningfully to the world.”

The day concluded with a feast following Dhuhr (midday) prayers, as parents, staff, and students came together in a spirit of togetherness.
