Nigerian singer Abiodun Majemite Ekele, popularly known as Oritsefemi, has stirred up social media with revelations about his ex-wife, Nabila Fash, during a recent interview.
The music star disclosed that Nabila once orchestrated an attack on him by her friends, who succeeded in beating him up. This incident was part of the series of contentious events that led to their split.
Oritsefemi described the attack humorously, saying, “My wife asked her friends to come and beat me up in my house. Look at a whole me lion, na im woman dey pursue. Dem reach like 20 o, dem beat me o, no be say na lie o.”
Oritsefemi and his ex-wife, a sports journalist, had a tumultuous relationship that ended amidst public accusations and counter-claims.
During his interview with Chude Jideonwo, Oritsefemi shared his perspective on their troubled marriage, a snippet of which has gone viral online.
The singer detailed how Nabila accused him of impregnating other women behind her back.
He also mentioned that he improved her life by starting a multi-million naira business for her.
In the same interview, Oritsefemi made the startling claim that Nabila had experienced 21 miscarriages during their relationship but still blamed him for their inability to conceive.
He quoted her as saying, “Nabila had, e go reach 21, miscarriages, and she still dey tell me Oritsefemi say I no fit impregnate am.”
