

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has reiterated its resolve to remain dedicated to fostering a stronger regulatory environment in the Nigerian insurance sector.
Also, the commission emphasized the importance of addressing knowledge gaps and promoting professionalism among insurers in the country.

The Commissioner for Insurance (CFI) and Chief Executive of the NAICOM, Mr. Olusegun Omosehin, stated this when he hosted the Council of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) at his office in Abuja.
He encouraged the CIIN to continue playing a pivotal role in enhancing the insurance industry’s professionalism and expertise in order to continue to maintain high standards and respect, and project positive image of the industry.
The CIIN for their visit, reaffirming his commitment to maintaining a cordial relationship with the Council.
Mrs Yetunde Ilori, President of CIIN, who led the delegation, held discussions on key industry matters.
Ilori expressed her gratitude to the CFI for his outstanding achievements so far at the Commission.
She also reaffirmed the CIIN’s commitment to collaborating with the Commission on various insurance initiatives.
