The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has revealed that the democracy of Nigeria is under attack following the outcome of the governorship and presidential elections that were held some weeks back.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele stated that the country is in trouble and is sitting on a time bomb due to the irregularities in the electoral systems.
He made it known that there are constitutional problems already that will affect a lot of things in the country while noting that God has not approved the incoming government.
‘’Nigeria is in big trouble, our democracy is under attack. Constitutional problems have come up and this will affect a lot of things. Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb and God has not approved this government.’’
The prophet knocked INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu for conducting an election filled with malpractices. He stated that the judiciary system will also compromise and it will lead to dangers in the land. He mentioned that the country needs divine intervention to survive the internal crisis.
The man of God also asserted that the nation will find it difficult to experience peace because those who were actually voted for were rigged out of the election by those who won through dubious means.
‘’The INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu has made a huge mistake. Our judiciary will compromise, and this will bring dangers and attacks on some judges. We need God’s divine intervention now because Nigeria is in a very big internal crisis.
‘’There can’t be peace because those that were not voted for won elections through dubious means, it’s a serious matter,” he said.
