The Nigeria Immigration Service has shortlisted 6,105 candidates for the final screening of credentials and physical fitness under its 2019/2020 recruitment.
The shortlisted candidates were picked from the 45,323 applicants that sat the NIS computer-based aptitude test.
The Service Public Relations Officer, Sunday James, disclosed this on Monday in a statement titled, ‘NIS recruitment screening exercise.’
The statement read, “Following the approval of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board for the commencement of the final screening for the prospective applicants that sat the computer-based aptitude test for the 2019/2020 NIS recruitment, the service is informing applicants that 6,105 candidates out of the 45,323 have been shortlisted to attend the final screening of credentials and physical fitness.
“They are to be invited via their emails and SMS on the mobile telephone lines they gave from Monday, May 10, 2021.
“The applicants are advised to check on the NIS website: https://immigrationrecruitment.org.ng for their names, examination locations, guidelines for the recruitment exercise and print out their invitation slips without which they will not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise. The screening exercise is to commence on May 24, 2021 and is free.”
