Senior pastor of Trinity House Church, Ituah Ighodalo, has expressed openness to the possibility of marrying again.
In June 2020, Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of the cleric, died in her sleep due to a heart attack, only a few weeks before her 40th birthday.

In the years after her passing, the cleric consistently maintained that he had no intention of getting married again.

He previously admitted that remarrying would be challenging for him, explaining that he had “given everything” to his late wife and felt he had “nothing left to offer anyone else.”
However, in a recent interview with Nigeria Info FM, which was shared on YouTube, Ighodalo disclosed that he now sees the possibility of remarrying.
He explained that although he has faced pressure from others to remarry, he is choosing to follow his heart, which is slowly becoming more receptive to the idea.
The cleric added that there is no one in the picture at the moment, as he is taking his time, seeking God’s guidance, and carefully weighing all relevant factors before making any decision.
“When Ibidun died, I thought remarrying was impossible because I had given her so much. So, when I get asked about remarrying, my first response was I don’t have more love to give, but time heals,” he said.
“People are putting me under a lot of pressure, but I’m not listening to them, but to my heart. My heart is telling me that remarrying is possible.
“At the moment, there is no one in view, I’m just believing in God. It is not an easy decision, and there are things to consider.
“So, before I can get to that stage, we have to cross all the t’s and dot all the i’s.”
