We in Odofin Team received with deep sense of shock and despair of the untimely passing away of Hon Blessing Ademikore. We looked upon Hon Blessing Ademikore as a leader with a devoted sense of service to the Ijesa North Federal Constituency and its people. He stood as a beacon of light to the thousands Progressives like us, in an era, when Ijesa North Federal Constituency APC stands at the crossroads of its destiny. He didn’t have to go at this critical point in time when his service is more needed in repositioning APC in Ijesa North Federal Constituency.
At this moment, we lose a great leader among us in the Progressive party, who had more to offer in future. Our best message to Mrs Ademikore and his Children is that the best we can do for his soul is to follow what he stood for while on earth.
Hon Blessing Ademikore unlike most others in the Progressive party in Ijesa North Federal Constituency today, had larger goals and commitment in his mind and heart in providing leadership to the citizens of Ijesa North Federal Constituency. His commitment to progressive ideas was so great that he remained with the Progressive party all his life time.
His death is a great loss to the Progressive party and Ijesa North Federal Constituency. Being the former Councillor and local government party chairman, He was one of the forward-looking young leaders, who are at ease with the latest trends in Osun State as well as Ijesa North politics. It is very sad that we lost such a valuable person.
He was the Hope and Pride of Ijeda Ijesa and by extension, Oriade local government.Hon Blessing Ademikore was one of the rare politicians who have clean image and who can understand the masses. When will come such again?. The only Consolation to his bereaved family we can offer is this: Those whom the God loves, He recalls early. May you and all who loved and respected him, be guided by his vision and dreams.
The face of a young and vibrant Ijesa North politics is no more and it is the utter misfortune of this federal Constituency to be facing such a moment in its history. But in this hour of grief, no one should forget that this man, irrespective of his political influence, was a man of the masses and yet so untouched by the filth and the rot that afflicts polity at all levels.
