The Federal Commissioner, NCFRMI, Tijjani Ahmed, reiterated that the project aims to provide decent housing and economic opportunities.
Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, pledged to replicate the model nationwide, assuring displaced Nigerians: “Your voice is heard and you matter to us, you now have access to a good life and dignity.”
Expressing gratitude, Cameroonian refugee and leader of refugees in Nigeria, Mr. Earnest Cho, said: “We are excited to live in free accommodation and a farming community, but we urge the government to connect us to the national grid and provide mobility for better living conditions.”
