The APC National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore, in his annual philanthropic gestures and his usual way of kickstarting his year for the past decades was very early this morning, today 1st of January within the premises of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, OAUTHC, Ile-ife along with family, friends, and well wishers shared moments with the patients during which he paid bills running into hundreds of thousand of Naira for several patients whose challenges were the settlement of their treatment bills.
This annual act of the former Osun State deputy Governor is a yearly rite Nigerians across ethnic groups, tribes and geopolitical zones have enjoyed and which Ife indigenes, OAUTHC staffs, and especially patients look forward to at the beginning of every year.
After today’s event, Senator Omisore gave his view on the new year 2023 in his interactions with the press. In an exclusive interview, he affirms that with a very positive overall outlook of the government of President Muhammadu Buhari in all facets at the twilight of second term and the political background of the APC Presidential candidate who is poised to win this year Presidential poll, Bola Tinubu, our dear nation is quite in a strong tandem to be the great nation we were always claimed to be.
The former Osun East Senator added that beyond the argument of the North-South Presidential rotation, he claimed that even on the basis of meritocracy if we get all our parameters right APC have put forward the best ticket which he urged all citizens to be steadfast, play their civic roles sanely without sentiments so as to fast track our desired development, security, prosperity, and enjoyment of collective political deliverables by electing Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari on February 25th, 2023.
He, however, reassured Nigerians of the pledged ‘Renewed Hope’ of APC which he emphasized that it is not a mere political statement but well thought-out mission that the party have already put machineries in place to actualize and he made it a point that the progressive party is all out to reverse slight setbacks the country might seem to experience in recent time especially economy which is majorly as a result of the inevitable Covid-19 as well as Russia-Ukraine war because redeeming all positive parameters for the nation is the ultimate goal of the party and the candidate so that very soon we shall be ranked among the developed countries.
Senator Omisore wishes Nigeria and Nigerians a favourable year and he prays that by January 1st, 2024 he will be back again at the hospital for the same gesture while he encouraged everyone to support the society and the people in any way, as little or as much, they can. Continue Reading
