I have observed closely the ongoing campaigns for zoning and the push for primordial sentiments, which work against reshaping, realignment, restructuring, reconciliation, and ultimately undermine electoral victory. Such divisive moves must be resisted by those who understand the stakes and the consequences of losing the 2026 Osun Governorship election. Say no to oppressors and opposition forces.
However, no sacrifice or political settlement — including reasonable alternatives and negotiations — is too great for political gladiators and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to make. Our collective goal must be to send the ruling party into political oblivion, preventing any hope for the continuation of misgovernance, mischief-making, misappropriation, and multiple statutory infractions. We must reject zoning at all costs and rise above primordial sentiments.

More importantly, agitations for a sellable and marketable candidate should be spontaneous and progressive, gaining momentum in a geometric sequence among party faithfuls. We must firmly refuse to return to the “Egypt” of political stagnation and regression.
Truthfully, the voice of the people is more powerful than the voice of guns. The cost and burden of losing the Osun Governorship election in succession are unimaginable and unquantifiable. Therefore, promoting a level playing field for all candidates seeking the exalted position is essential. This must take precedence over selfish and sentimental zoning agendas.
