In what many considered shocking, the management of the Osun State Polytechnic Iree has confirmed the sacking all its part-time and contract lecturers.
While confirming the development in an internal memorandum dated January 15 and signed by Mrs Foyinsade O. Apara on behalf of the institution’s registrar, the school management noted in the internal memorandum that it took the move to stop paying unmerited salaries to the affected lecturers.

However, Apara said the institution will welcome application from the affected lecturers for re-engagement with recommendation letter from HOD/HOU, directed to the Registrar and submitted to the Personnel Affairs Office on or before the close of work on Wednesday, 29th January, 2025.
