Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has urged Nigerians in the diaspora to pray for Nigeria’s deliverance and be optimistic despite the country’s current socio-economic challenges.
During a virtual interactive session on Saturday, Atiku emphasised the importance of collective effort in shaping Nigeria’s future.
He acknowledged the hardships faced by millions of Nigerians due to the economic downturn and rising poverty.
“I urge you not to give up just yet. Your strength and resilience are crucial to Nigeria’s future,” he said.
Atiku recognised the significant role Nigerians abroad play in shaping the country’s future, citing their unique perspective on good governance and economic management.
“I encourage you to continue praying for Nigeria’s deliverance,” he added.
“Your prayers and support can bring about the transformation we need.”
Atiku expressed confidence in Nigeria’s potential, stressing the need for collective effort to overcome current challenges.

Abubakar said Nigerians in the diaspora played a big role in shaping the country’s future.
