As part of its commitment to contribute to the uplift of the educational standards of Epe sons and daughters, the Stallion Circle, Epe, is enabling some students to partake in this year’s Unified Matriculation Examination (UTME).

President of the club, Mr Debo Abdulai, announced during the inauguration of the new executive council on January 27 the club’s commitment to instituting an education endowment that will provide scholarships, purchase UTME and GCE forms for indigent students

To achieve this, the club chose beneficiaries from different schools and quarters of the community.

A statement issued by the club’s chief scribe, Mr Nuhman Edu, stated that to ensure credibility, a committee headed by Mr Dayo Omitaomu was set up, which included teachers in Epe, to screen and nominate worthy beneficiaries who could not afford the N8,000 fee for the form.

He added that the club hopes to continue to look towards doing similar interventions while also praying for the success of the students in the forthcoming examinations.
