Manchester United legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has ‘intervened’ in discussions over Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.
Ferguson was viewed as a father figure to Ronaldo during the Portuguese’s first spell at Man United between 2003 and 2009.
Ronaldo has demanded to leave Man United to play in the 2022/23 Champions League.
The 37-year-old also reiterated that stance during a meeting with club officials on Tuesday at Carrington.
However, Man United have asked Ferguson, who is now a director, to intervene, according to Goal.
