Renowned Nigerian gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi, has sparked controversy on social media after encouraging straight individuals to try something “unnatural” for once.
In a post on his Instagram stories on Sunday, April 9th, Alimi suggested that those whose marriages have failed should consider something unconventional.
He went further to opine that if his “unnatural” marriage had lasted longer than “natural” marriages, then it might be time for straight individuals to try something different.
Alimi, who has been an advocate for LGBT rights in Nigeria, is known for his controversial statements on issues surrounding homosexuality.
His recent statement has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians, with some commending his boldness and others criticizing him for promoting what they consider to be immoral behaviour.
