Some Nigerians have taken to social media to mock former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, over his exclusion from the two batches of ministerial lists submitted by President Bola Tinubu.
Recall the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain alongside some bigwigs of the party did not make the 47-man ministerial nominees, prompting his political foes to mock him.
Reacting, Fani-Kayode extended his congratulations to the nominees in a tweet on Thursday morning adding that “I was a Minister 16 years ago and I know how taxing and challenging it can be”.
Congratulations to all those in both the first and second Ministerial lists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT).
They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation.

In response to Fani-Kayode’s tweet, social media users and other critics dragged the APC chieftain to hell.

Your hope was dashed Mr @realFFK . I understand your pain . The disappointment you can’t voice out to the public. You probably waited for the supplementary names to see ………… if Tinubu give you appoint make I bend.

Aunty Funmilayo Fani-Kayode is not on that second batch of ministerial list as well. What was the essence of all that fake news? pic.twitter.com/Ci00wEmZkS

Chai! It’s so very sad 😔 Fani Kayode and Festus Keyamo did not make the ministerial nomination list after all their commitment to the Tinubu brand. They are left in limbo. What a cruel world we live in. I really feel sorry for them.
