Osun State Governor Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has been attacked by suspected hoodlums at an EndSARS protest on Saturday.
The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ismail Omipidan disclosed this in a statement on his Facebook page.
Omipidan said Governor Oyetola was addressing the protesters in Osogbo, the State capital, when the incident happened.
“He was addressing them, responding to their questions in a convivial atmosphere until hoodlums came from nowhere and attacked us. But to God be the glory, Mr. Governor is safe. We are safe,” the statement said.
