Tesla owner, Elon Musk, has raised concerns about the United Kingdom’s criminal justice system, accusing the country of releasing convicted paedophiles from prison while imprisoning individuals for critical comments made on Facebook.
In an interview that has since gone viral on X, Musk questioned the priorities of British authorities in handling serious criminal cases.
According to him, UK has adopted a lenient approach towards dangerous criminals, including convicted paedophiles, while punishing people for expressing their opinions online.
He specifically referenced the issue of migrant rape gangs in England, alleging that these gangs operated freely, targeting young girls and committing heinous crimes.
The tech entrepreneur expressed disbelief that, despite the severity of such crimes, individuals who voiced their objections to these criminal activities on social media were jailed for their posts, while those who committed the crimes were released from prison.

He said, “In Britain, I kid you not, how can this be real? They are releasing convicted pedophiles from prison in order to put people in prison for Facebook posts.
“There were-and this is sort of stating a fact-there were migrant rape gangs in England that would run around you and prey on young girls, gang rape them. And some people found that objectionable which should be objectionable and then they were upset about that, and so they complained about it online and were sent to prison.”
