Vice President Kashim Shettima has said that the government will tap into the wealth of experience and exposure of the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar to catapult the nation to a higher pedestal.
Shettima while speaking with journalists in Abuja after the Presidential Election Petition Court, PEPC affirmed the victory of President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday said he would have retired Atiku but “politics is over. Governance is now in place.”
He said “Atiku Abubakar is an elder statesman that I hold in very high esteem. Anybody who knows the sociocultural interaction between the Fulanis and the Kanoris in the north will know that I have the liberty to call an audience of any human to the Caribbean.
“We are not going to retire him to Dubai or Morocco. I will retire him to Colombia. I will buy him goats, and broilers, and dares so that he can spend his days rearing goats and broilers. But he’s an elder statesman that I hold. He’s only joking, sir. Only more serious, if not.
Shettima continued that the nation “needs him. Experience is not something that you can buy in the marketplace. We’ll tap into his wealth of experience and exposure to catapult the nation to a higher pedestal. Politics is over. Governance is now in place.
“The order that I might have offended by my attractions is, I’m sorry, but politics. It’s a game of nerves, not of emotions. Politics, you have to project.,” he concluded.
