Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, on Saturday, called on the National Assembly to stop off-season elections, saying that it is not best for Nigeria’s growing democracy.
He disclosed this shortly after casting his vote at Ward 13, Unit 39 in Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area in the ongoing off-season governorship election in the State.
He also urged fellow Bayelsans and citizens of Imo and Kogi, States where election is also taking place to be lawful and carry out their civic duties peacefully.
