A 61 year-old grandmother, Mrs. Queendaline Udoh has been remanded in the Enugu Correctional Centre for forcing her seven-year-old granddaughter to be sexually assaulted for a fee of N1500 on each assault.
The woman was arrested and arraigned alongside Miracle Sunday Akpan, 25, who repeatedly had carnal knowledge of the minor.
The incident happened at Ugwuagor Abakpa-Nike, Enugu East LGA, where the suspects and the victim reside.
The woman and Akpan were paraded by officials of Neighbourhood Watch.
In viral video, Akpan confessed to have been paying the grandmother N1500 on every visit.
Police said the woman was in the habit of exploiting the minor for financial gains by giving her out to men for unlawful carnal knowledge.
